Have we hit peak terrazzo yet? I’m selfishly hoping no, because I’m still rocking the terrazzo earrings from last summer and doubling down with this naked terrazzo manicure. Terrazzo is such a fun way to experiment with color palettes and there’s no way to mess it up! It’s really the perfect pattern for DIY.
You’ll Need
nail buffer
3-4 nail polish colors
clear top coat
nail brushes (optional)
Lay the groundwork for the terrazzo and buff your nails. This will give you the perfect base peeking through!
You can really do the terrazzo pattern any way you want- from smaller, mosaic pieces like Madison’s, to looser, more organic shapes like these. To get this look, keep the same colors similar in shapes and sizes.
Start with one color and map out the largest shapes. Let dry. Repeat with the second & third color and shapes. And if you don’t like one shape, you can just go in with a q-tip and avoid starting all over! Really let all the layers dry before sealing with a top coat so the colors don’t run together.
