Ditch the Santa Hat DIY

 

At home we have this amazing Santa hat. It’s the perfect red, plush, and has stayed pristine over many fights of who gets wear it. Sadly, that perfect hat is in Florida, and no Santa hat I could easily get here would compare. So as I do when one way is blocked, I go the complete opposite direction.

I got the ribbon from this awesome Etsy seller, and it’s even more sumptuous in person.

This can be as temporary or permanent as you want. I glued the Christmas tag to the clothespin holding the fir branches to make all the decorations removable. This way I can change the ribbon for each season. If you want it more secure & permanent, you can hand sew each part.
