Happy almost Valentine’s Day! Out of all the holidays, Valentine’s Day is one of my favorites. It’s the one day you can be as over the top with love and appreciation for everyone in your life and they won’t call you crazy. This is our first married Valentine’s Day, so I wanted to do something a little more sentimental than my usual Valentine’s puns.
I love styled wedding stationery shoots and considered just printing the photo of ours to hang up. But ours have just been sitting in a box since the big day and guys- how many hours did you debate and pour over your suite? Put those invitations to work!
You’ll Need
wedding stationery
styling props (stamps, ribbon, pressed flowers)
float frame (some options linked at the bottom!)
double-sided tape or washi tape
If you use pressed flowers, make sure they are completely dry before putting in the frame. If you’re really thinking ahead, press some flowers from your wedding bouquet!
Work in layers to arrange the pieces. Secure with double-sided tape or folded over washi tape. I like using washi tape because it is more gentle on paper and can be removed later. Just be sure to use a light colored tape so it doesn’t show through.
Close the frame, wrap it up, and present the sweetest gift. This would also be a unique wedding present!
I used a frame from the Hearth & Home line that is no longer available, but here are some great options!

World Market | Brass Loop Frame

that is such a neat idea and also a good gift actually.

If my husband didn’t help me with the photoshoot, this definitely would’ve been his 1 year anniversary gift haha.
Jessie Webster says
Where did you get this frame? Love the idea!
Catherine says
It’s from the Magnolia, Hearth & Home collection at Target! I took out the music note print.

I bought a similar gold floating frame from Oliver Bonas, I love it! How can I press eucalyptus leaves? I would like to frame it with our wedding suite.
Catherine says
The great thing about eucalyptus is that it is insanely easy to dry. The ones I used here were just a bouquet I left in a vase and they dried out themselves!
Courtney says
What size is this frame? thanks!
Catherine says
Hi Courtney! The frame is 12 x 18.5″. I think that’s an atypical size, but the Hearth & Home collection might reintroduce similar frames for their fall line!
